Very creative day is behind us. Our lecturers were from Voluntariat SCI Slovenia.
Voluntariat organizes international voluntary camps and voluntary work with an aim to provide assistance and additional programs on social inclusion, environment protection and other activities that profit organizations and the state do not provide. They consider international voluntary work as a value for personal growth of individuals, promotion of social justice, intercultural learning and education for peace and solidarity.
The first Voluntariat Workshops started with discussions about certain themes about volunteering.
We continued with searching positive and negative things in magazines and presenting them to others. We also spread some gossips, well actually found out how they appear. We found out there are many factors which effect the flow of information. For example when people gossip an apple can become banana.
After lunch we continue with our workshop which was quite playful, but innovative. It gave us some ideas how to reuse different items instead of throwing them in the garbage.
Later on we will participate in pizza party at the restaurant Burin where we have a meals every day!
