After a night of party, we went to the lectures at 9 a.m., where first we got to know more about volunteer work at sports events, with a lecturer from EUROBASKET, that already volunteered for the event in Lithuania in 2011, and now is preparing the next one that will happen here, in Slovenia, in 2013.
The second lecture was about different types of volunteer programs around the world, presented by the British volunteer, Ed Bentham from the Whale Nation Foundation.
At Lunch, we went to Burin to taste Goulash soup, which, by the way, was similar with a Portuguese dish called "Jardineira", but with more water and seasonings.
Later, each of us went with our group to the first workshop related to the theme "Volunteer", with teachers from the other participant countries. We discussed some topics with our guides and then started to define the objectives of the project for the final presentation. Ones are going to volunteer, anothers just will explore ideas of how volunteering can help the city of Portoroz.
Now, after a busy day, nothing better than take a swim, be with our new friends and finaly recharge energys for a new day ;)
